I vote for a name that doesn’t require an entire breath to get through.

Let’s just pick one letter. Y. The Y community. As in, Y don’t we have our fucking rights yet.

GSM (Gender and Sexual Minorities) All-encompassing, simple, easy to remember. Doesn’t require endless lists of letters added onto it, and is not easily susceptible to things being added on that do not belong (such as Allies or other crap)

I second Alice’s suggestion and I’ll try to remember to use it from now on

GSM is probably my favorite acronym, but LGBT is what is most popular now.
